Ymir, or else known as the Chaos Lord of Ice, in the film "Atlantis: Milo's Return", is a massive giant, made out of blizzard and ice. He is depicted as one of the monsters, responsible for creating the Ragnarok event in the Norse Mythology. Ymir is a minor player in the villains wars, usually being summoned by the insane and maniac man, Erik Hellstorm, a business man who takes the name of the Norse God, Odin.
He appears as a minor villain in the direct-video sequel, "Atlantis: Milo's Return".

Ymir is summoned by Odin to take on the Lava Titan, a giant unleashed by Hades to the Asgard kingdom. Though, Ymir gets his arm melted by the Titan's powers, he heals himself, allowing to grow another frozen arm, in place of his original destroyed part. The two giants then clash, as they fight off with their elemental powers. Eventually, the Lava Titan overwhelms the frozen giant, as he engulfs Ymir in magma, melting the giant alive, though Odin avenges him and destroys the Lava Titan for good.
