Yahweh, colloquially referred as God, is a major protagonist in Dreamworks' animated film The Prince of Egypt, and its subsequent direct-to-video Joseph: King of Dreams.
The monotheistic God of the Abrahamic religions, Yahweh chose Moses to be his prophet and the deliverer of his people from slavery in Egypt. Through Moses, Yahweh performed miracles and sent ten plagues against Egypt to convince Pharaoh Rameses to release the Israelites.
He is also featured in Heroes vs. Villains in a minimal, yet crucial, role throughout the events of the war. During the final events of the first war, he becomes involved in the final battle, protecting Moses from Chernabog's evil by banishing the arch-demon and his minions back to Hell.
Yahweh's will appearing in the form of a pillar of fire, initially used to prevent Rameses and his army from reaching the Israelites.
