XL is a recurring antagonist of the Disney's television series Buzz Lightyear of Star Command. A flawed prototype of XR that was deactivated for his destructive capabilities, XL appears for the most part as an anti-hero in the series, trying to make ends with various villains, including Torque and Nos4a2, before realising his wrong ways and attempting to make amends with Buzz Lightyear.
Regarding the villain wars, XL appears as a bit player, usually working under Emperor Zurg's employ.
