Rex Washburn (X-Ray)
Rex Washburn, known by his nickname X-Ray, is a major supporting hero in the 1998 novel and the 2003 live-action film Holes. The leader of the Camp Green Lake's inmates, X-Ray appears as the reluctant mentor to the newcomer Stanley Yelnats, often giving him guidance in the survival of the wilderness. Despite being greedy and self-seeking, X-Ray still appears as one of the comic relief characters in the film. Though he had a rocky beginning with Yenlats, occasionally calling him "Caveman", X-Ray eventually came to terms to respect him, following his bravery against the camp's wardens. Over the course of their adventure, X-Ray and his friends were released from incarceration by the efforts of Stanley Yenlats and Hector Zeroni, leaving him to live a new life in Texas.
He also appears in the second Disney Heroes vs. Villains as one of the Camp Green inmates brought to the wilderness of Texas by Warden Louise Walker for a currently unknown goal.
