Urland
Urland is the main setting of the 1981 Disney's live-action film Dragon Slayer.
A post-Roman medieval kingdom situated near the River Ur, contemporary in modern England, Urland appeared as a dominion threatened by the might of the Vermithrax Pejorative. To appease the beast, King Casiodorus offered virgin women as monthly sacrifices to avoid direct confrontation. Nonetheless, a group of Urlanders, led by Valerian, grew tired of the king's practice, allowing them to seek aid from Urlich of Cragganmore and his apprentices, including the elderly Hodge and the young Galen Bradwarden. Though the former two perished by Tyrian's forces, the Urlanders found hope in Galen, who stood up against the machinations of King Casiodorus and Tyrian, leading them to provide moral support in the battle against the Vermithrax Pejorative, eventually slaying the beast through the joint effort of Galen and the returning Urlich. Since then, Urland had entered a new age of prosperity.
While not physically featured in the villain wars, Urland is mentioned as the homeland of Valerian and her expedition force, as well as Tyrian and his royal guard, during the events of the second Disney Heroes vs. Villains.
