The White Queen (full name Mirana of Marmoreal) is a central figure and secondary heroine of Tim Burton's film adaptations of the Lewis Caroll's novels, Alice in Wonderland. Portrayed by American actress Annie Hathaway, the White Queen takes the role of the chess piece of the same name, leading an entire army of chesspieces against evil and corrupt forces in Underland. Despite her civil conflict with her estranged and deranged sister, the Red Queen, the White Queen becomes aware of a new powerful menace that threatens her kingdom, including the small tension with Queen Narissa in the second Disney Heroes vs. Villains War; thus she joined forces with the Narnian armies, led by Aslan, in order to save her people.
