Following the instructions of the Witch-King of Angmar, the Nazgûl enter the enchanted forest, where they meet Regina. The Evil Queen, not happy to see them intervering in her forest, warns the Black Riders to leave the forest at once. However, the Ringwraiths didn't take easily the Evil Queen's commands and summon their blades, ready to attack her. One Black Rider manages to reach her, only to be ablazed alive by Regina's powers. The rest of the Nazgûl then charge at Regina, wanting no more than her death. However, the Black Riders notice that they are standing in a river and Regina uses her chance to summon a massive wall of water, washing the rest of the Black Riders away.
The Nazgûl appear, as an elite squad of Saruman's army, when Blackwolf unleashes his armies on a small village, killing all of it's inhabitants. Later, a Nazgûl horseman senses the current possessor of the One-Ring, held by the boy Taran. Upon witnessing the boy entering Nekron's domain, Saruman's current position, the horseman returns to the Ice Peak to report the other Nazgûl horsemen about the event. The Nazgûl then storm in the battle against the forces of Garrett, eventually crossing blades with Taran. Despite their efforts, the Nazgûl are flushed away, after Taran plunges a hole from a fullfilled water store, flooding the entire cavern.
