The Iron Giant's normal form
The Iron Giant is the eponymous protagonist of the animated film The Iron Giant, based on the novel The Iron Man. A massive and powerful robot with unknown origins, the Iron Giant slowly progressed in learning the difference between good and evil through the boy Hogarth Hughes, ultimately adapting into the environment and its surroundings. Due to the Iron Giant's ability to transform into a lethal weapon to defend himself, he is pursued by various menacing forces, either for xenophobic reasons like Kent Mansley, or for reasons of being a valuable asset to their ultimate goal of world domination like Emperor Zurg and Marcus Octavius as seen in the events of the first Heroes vs. Villains.
