The Great Animal is the fierce and monstrous form of the wicked sorcerer, Rothbart. The beast's design and features resemble more of a wyvern, rather than a dragon. The beast is featured in the villain's final climax scene, during the finale of the Swan Princess. It also appears in the CGI adaptation of the movie, the Swan Princess Christmas. The Great Animal is featured in the villains wars context, though assuming a minor role to appear in a tournament, with the exception of Heroes vs. Villains War.
