Stuart "Stu" Macher is the secondary antagonist of the 1996 slasher film Scream, the first installment of the franchise of the same name.
He is Billy Loomis' insensitive and eccentric best friend who assisted him as Ghostface during the original 1996 Woodsboro Murders. He is also a horror movie fanatic, that being one of the reasons he went along with Billy's slasher film-like murder spree.
