Spirit

Spirit-Who-Could-Not-Be-Broken, also known as "Spirit" for short, is the titular protagonist of the animated film Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron. The leader of his own herd and the son of Esperanza, Spirit is a wild mustang who used to live freely in the American west until he was captured by the US Cavalry for use as a steed, quickly becoming a rival of the man known only as the Colonel. Though he once escaped custody and made friends, including the Lakota native Little Creek, and the beautiful mare Rain, Spirit once again gets caught up in the schemes of the villain forces in Heroes vs. Villains War.
