Disney Versus Non-Disney Villains Wiki
Spain

Spain is amongst the most famous and known countries of the globe. Located in the far South-Western section of Europe, Spain is the only European country to share physical borders with Africa. Additionally, the country's mainland is bordered to the south and east by the Mediterranean Sea except for a small land boundary with Gibraltar; to the north and northeast by France, Andorra, and the Bay of Biscay; and to the west and northwest by Portugal and the Atlantic Ocean.

The Iberian culture, as well as the population, changed from as time passed on, as ancient Phoenician, Greek, Celtic and Carthaginian, later Roman, Germanic tribes, Byzantines, and Muslims inhabited the mainland, changing the course of its history and culture. Moreover, the handful of small Christian pockets in the north left out of Muslim rule, along the presence of the Carolingian Empire near the Pyreneean range, would eventually led to the emergence of the Christian kingdoms on the Spanish peninsula. In the early modern period, Spain ruled one of the largest empires in history which was also one of the first global empires, leaving a large cultural and linguistic legacy. During the Golden Age there were also many advancements in the arts, with the rise of renowned painters such as Diego Velázquez.

In modern fiction, Spain appears as the setting of various fictional works including Johnston McCulley's Zorro and Miguel de Cervantes' Don Quixote. Additionally, the country also appears as the starting point of the Dreamworks' animated film The Road to El Dorado where the conquistador Hernán Cortés led an expedition to the New World along with stowaways Miguel and Tulio.

Regarding the villain wars, Spain is not featured physically in any kind of conflict. Yet it is mentioned as the homeland of Cortés (who appeared as a major player in most of the tournaments), Miguel, and Tulio (the latter two affiliated within Heroes vs. Villains war)
