Performing a Hit

Kingpin hires Shocker to eliminate one of his business rivals, Sykes. Shocker infiltrates Sykes's facility. When Roscoe and Desoto attack, Shocker kills them with his gauntlets. Sykes responds by trying to ram Shocker with his car, but Shocker blasts clean through the windshield and electrocutes his foe.

Defeat

One day, Shocker is waiting inside Kingpin's lair, when a gas tank blows up in the background. Shocker heads up to the roof in order to see what has happened, when Queen Narissa, a former lover of his, pushes him off the building into a water tank. Shocker's gauntlets begin to overload, forcing Shocker to remove them and leap out of the tank.

The Sinister Six

Shocker turns to Doctor Octopus to replace his suit. The good doctor complies, in exchange for Shocker's entering his villain team: the Sinister Six.
