Sawyer is the deuteragonist from the animated film Cats Don't Dance. A secretary of the Hollywood Studios' department, Sawyer was initially introduced as Danny's rival, eventually becoming her love-interest and partner. She once helped Danny and her friends from the antics of the spoiled star Darla Dimple, from driving the animals out of the hotspot and taking over the acting career as its solo performer. However, she becomes involved in Heroes vs. Villains, as among the animal heroes who make a stand against the villains, particularly with the Animal Cruelty Squad's members led by Cruella De Ville.
