Sam Flynn

Sam Flynn is a major character in Tron universe, first appearing as the main protagonist of the film Tron: Legacy. An eccentric man orphaned from his parents from a young age, Sam was taken in the care of his grandparents until he became a mature adult where he lived on his own; by extend, he is the inheritor of ENCOM, the company that once operated the digital world known as the Grid. While reclusive and loner by nature, Sam has also displayed a rebellious nature when being provoked by his adversaries. In his latest misfortune, he was transported into the Grid, and was roped into a chain of events operated by the twisted program CLU 2.0. While fighting his way through the Grid, encountering CLU and his henchman Rinzler (Tron's malevolent form corrupted by the machinations of his new employer), Sam found assistance from the ISO Quorra, who guided him throughout his journey to escape from the digital world. Ultimately, he reunited with his father Kevin Flynn, who revealed him the reasons of being trapped in the Grid. Though they were set up by CLU's men, Sam and his allies managed to turn the tide and return to their own world, though his father remained in the Grid to stop CLU from reaching the real world. Since then, Sam took responsiblity on handling the company for better use in the future.

Sam appears in the second Disney Heroes vs. Villains as one of the prominent heroes of the live-action universe who lead the hero forces in the battle against the villains.
