Ruel Stroud is one of the main protagonists of the French television series Wakfu. A close friend of Yugo's adoptive family, Ruel appears as a greedy and stingy old man, yet as compassionate person to his beloved ones. Over the course of the original series, he helped his friends in many escapades with various enemies and adversaries. He also helps Yugo in his battles against the villains during the events of the second Heroes vs. Villains War.
