Ruby Sunstone

Ruby Sunstone is a mysterious dark item, capable of summoning evil forces, including dinosaurs, while at the same time boosting the current possessor's strenght and power. It also serves as the "key" to open Ogthar's sarcophagus, to whom he was previously imprisoned from within. It appears as the prime weapon of the animated film, Dinotopia: Quest for the Ruby Sunstone. It is also featured in the events of Heroes vs. Villains War, the latter serving its purpose as Ogthar's collaborate tool to his plan of creating a massive army. It was also revealed that the Ruby Sunstone was, basically, a fragment of the legendary Philosopher's Stone, as mentioned by Ogthar himself. Since Ogthar's fall in the first war, the Ruby Sunstone is pressumed to have been disposed off by 26 and her friends.
