Rowf is the primary protagonist of the short novel The Plague Dogs, and it's resulted film adaptation. A large black mongrel, Rowf used to live in a laboratory, where he was put in several experimental tests, eventually realising the cruel life he endured and despising the actions of humans respectively. He once helped his fellow dog and companion Snitter in escaping from the laboratory. Still, he kept distance from the people, blaming them for his suffering. Despite his strong grudge, he plays a major role in Heroes vs. Villains War, acting as one of the field commanders of the animal heroes.
