Ripcord (file name: Private Wallace A. Weems) is a member of the G.I. Joe team and of the main heroes of the G.I. Joe franchise; he also appears as one of the major characters in the television series G.I. Joe: Renegades. In the latter, he is portrayed as an African-American demolitions expert, always ready for battle. Furthermore, he is the member responsible nicknaming to the Joes according to his demands. He also appears in the second Heroes vs. Villains as one of the agents who combat the rising threat of the terrorist organizations posed by Cobra Commander and his allies, though his fate after the invasion at COBRA Industries remains currently unknown.
