The Recess Gang is the eponymous heroic team of the Disney's television series Recess, later made into feature films including Recess: School Out and Recess: A Miracle on Third Street. A group of elementary misfits led by T.J. Detweiler, the group aims to live their best moments of their lives at the Third Street School to the fullest. Often hanging out during recess, the group also participates in several activities and missions to conform with the norms of their daily lives. Of note, the Recess Gang is an unofficial name given by fans to indicate the group's formality and existence. The group also appears as one of the main heroic factions of Heroes vs. Villains, mainly contributing its effort to the side of good in the event of a conflict against the people who threaten them.
