The Pride Lands is the fictional and main setting area in the Disney franchise, The Lion King. A large savannah, comprised by the Pride Rock (the main sight), the Gorge, the desert, the Elephant Graveyard, the Outlands, and a tropical jungle, the Pride Lands is featured as the home of several wild animals, either for lions, as seen in the cases of Simba, Mufasa, Sarabi, Scar, Nala, Kiara, Zira, Vitani, Nuka, and Kovu, or for hyenas, like Shenzi, Banzai, Ed, and Janja, or for several other species, including the meerkat Timon, and the warthog Pumbaa.
In the villains wars context, the Pride Lands is mainly represented by the Pride Rock, the first being featured as one of the main royal battle sceneries, the Elephant Graveyard, the second being featured as the location, in which Scar assembles his forces, through his musical song "Be Prepared". Other areas like the Gorge and the Jungle, and the Outlands, appear in a minority in the series.
