The Podestà is one of the two main antagonists (alongside Count Volpe) of the 2022 stop-motion animated musical fantasy film Guillermo del Toro's Pinocchio, based on Gris Grimly's designs from his 2002 edition of the late Carlo Collodi's 1883 novel The Adventures of Pinocchio.

Confused oh why Black Hat Is doing this, Podestá orders his soldiers to attack him and stop him He soon learns that Black Hat wants Podestá and the nazis gone, as they are interfiering with the Villain own plans
