Patou is the secondary protagonist of the Don Bluth's animated movie, Rock-A-Doodle, while serving also as the narrator of the film itself. A basset hound, loyal to Edmond and his friends, Patou was once driven by Edmond to find Chanticleer and bring him back home in the live-action universe, in which he originally came, a task they eventually succeed. Yet, in Heroes vs. Villains, Patou would become involved in another journey to find once again Chanticleer and join the other animal heroes in order to combat the rise of the villains.
