Opar is a legendary city located in the deep wilds of Africa said to be a surviving colony of the legendary city of Atlantis. First appearing from Edgar Rice Burroughs' Tarzan novels, as well as from the Disney's television series The Legend of Tarzan, Opar is the home of the wicked high-priestess Queen La, who reigns as the Queen of the region, and her anthropomorphic army the Leopard Men. Although it is not physically featured in most of the villain wars, it is represented by La and her army, who appear as major combatants in various conflicts.
