The Dead King
Mufasa is the father of Simba, older brother to Scar, and the former king of the Pride Lands. Though beloved by most of the animals, Scar's jealousy led him to murder Mufasa and take his place as king. Despite this, he returns from death as a benevolent spirit to assist the forces of good in the final stages of the war in Disney Heroes vs. Villains.
