Gang of New York
The Mott Street Maulers are the animal sidekicks of the notorious manipulator, Warren T. Rat. They appear as the secondary villains in the Don Bluth's animated movie, "An American Tail". The Mott Street Maulers play a minor role in the villains tournaments.
Defeating Prince John
The Mott Street Maulers assist Warren in his campaign to take over Prince John's colony, after the feline prinve refused to pay him the debt he owned. They succeed, as Warren burns Prince John's castle to the ground.
Fall to Ratigan
However, their expansion over the country of England is short-lived. When Warren threatens the current king of NIMH, Ratigan, to leave the colony at once, the well-prepared criminal unleashes the "Giant Mouse of Minsk" into them, giving them a chase. Due to it's enormous size and fireworks equipment, Warren and the Mott Street Maulers are forced to retreat to parts unknown.
During the beginning of the war, Warren and the Mott Street Maulers enjoy a beatifull evening at Warren's pub. However, the party is soon interrupted by the arrival of two mice, Bernard and Bianca. Warren orders his gang to kill the mice, giving them chase in the process. Despite their efforts, Bernard and Bianca manage to escape from their grips.
Joining Ratigan's Empire
Soon enough, Warren and his gang of cats join forces with Ratigan and Cat R. Waul. The two of them built a criminal empire upon the Patch of Heavens, currently being the homelair of the criminal animals.
