Monsieur D'Arque (also simply known as D'Arque) is a supporting antagonist in Disney's 30th full-length animated feature film Beauty and the Beast. He is the head of the local insane asylum called Asylum D'Loons who was called in by Gaston LeGume and LeFou to lock up Maurice as part of Gaston's plan of blackmailing Maurice's beautiful daughter Belle into marrying him, a request D'Arque complies despite knowing that Maurice is no harmful. He made an appearance in Disney Villains War 2 and in Disney Vs DC Villains War he made a minor but yet important appearance and he's the current greedy director of Arkham Asylum and helping Pete's and Negaduck's Alliance in The Joker's defeat

At the same time, Pete and Negaduck hire Monsieur D'Arque to put in the Asylum any of the Joker's allies including the clown prince of crime himself and fortunately, this twisted man is willing to carry out the duo's nefarious plan.
