Mara is one of the supporting protagonists in the 2005 animated film, Dinotopia: Quest for the Ruby Sunstone. An exclusive character to the movie, Mara is a young girl, who protects over Dinotopia, by keeping safe the dinosaurs and their eggs from intruders. She is tagged with 26, Kex Bradley and Spazz to recollect the "stolen eggs", captured by Rhoga and Thudd for their master, Ogthar. Mara has became involved in Heroes vs. Villains War, since the forces of evil threaten her homeworld.
