Malekith is a noted enemy of the Marvel superhero, Thor. A powerful dark elf in possession of the Casket of Ancient Winters, Malekith is a secondary player in the Disney Vs Marvel Villains War.

Defending His Turf[]
Malekith is content to sit out most of the war, but his domain comes under fire from Avalanche and Captain Hook. Malekith goes out to meet the threat, but Avalanche turns himself into a rock monster. Malekith tries to attack the mutant during the transformation process, but the process makes Avalanche immune to Malekith's magic. The rock monster's presence distracts Malekith; Captain Hook seizes the opportunity to stab him with his hook. Malekith teleports away, taking a few potshots at the rock monster and wiping out two of its heads. As Captain Hook cowers in fear, Malekith shows his true face and convinces Hook to make a hasty retreat.
Disney vs Marvel Villains War - Part Three[]
If the war wouldn't have been canceled, Thanos would have briefly gone to the live action universe to recruit a team which would have included Malekith. During the end of the war, he would have had a rematch with Imperious and would have lost the fight.
