The Magic Sword (nicknamed Dyrnwyn) in the novel, The Chronicles of Prydain, is an enchanted weapon, found within the Horned King's citadel by a fallen warrior, and obtained by the Welsh hero, Taran, during his survey on the Horned King's domain. He uses the sword against powerful adversaries like Saluk and Nekron in Disney Heroes vs. Villains and Heroes vs. Villains, respectively. The Magic Sword makes also a cameo appearance in the second Disney vs. Non-Disney Villains War, as a vision, created by Maleficent's magic, on purpose to lure Ruber to the Witches of Morva's location, though it does not make a direct appearance in the official war.
