Lord Zedd is the primary antagonist of the second season of Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers. Often considered the most iconic and best villain in Power Rangers history, Zedd is known for being particularly menacing for villains in his age demographic. Prince Nuada arrives in Zedd's lair, hoping to make a truce between Rita Repulsa and Zedd himself. Though Rita is interested, Zedd is not. He sets upon Nuada, forcing the enemy to rely on his blades. But Nuada proves far more lethal with his twin swords than Zedd with his staff. Nuada pierces Zedd's toe as well as changes Zedd's staff back into a snake. Zedd, disempowered, flees.
Fighting... in Space[]
Lord Zedd makes a gambit at gaining a presence in space, having two of his subordinates - Goldar and Astronema - engage in the gauntlet of Count Dooku. By the battle's end, Astronema proves successful, gaining Zedd a place in the Separatist cause.

After the defeat of Tasha Lem, Lord Zedd allied himself with the Dalek Empire in their war against the Galactic Empire.
The Dalek Empire meets together on Davros’ fleet, as they are spoken to by the mad prophet Dalek Caan, who predicts they will be destroyed by the last survivor of a race they exterminated long ago.
