King Salmoneus is a minor antagonist from the Disney's television series, Hercules. The former king of Thessaly, Salmoneus is a corrupt and gluttonous monarch, bent on keeping his throne at all cost. He appeared in the second Disney Heroes vs. Villains War, as one of the chief representatives of the Royal Council, although he later sided with Iago's Union of Ex-Henchmen, as a coup act against the Council. It was also revealed that he was amongst the villains, who commit the coup, along with the Captain of the Guard and Gillecomgain, before he was slain by the latter.
