King Butterfly (real name River Butterfly) is a supporting hero in the Disney's television series Star vs. the Forces of Evil. The ruler of an interstellar kingdom named Mewni, ruling it over alongside with his consort Moon Butterfly, King Butterfly is also the father of Star Butterfly, whom she has gone on multiple adventures throughout the galaxy to make friendships and stop nefarious and evil forces from taking over the universe. He appears as one of the Royal Council's chief officials in the second Disney Heroes vs. Villains War.
