José Carioca is a Brazilian parrot and a recurring character in the Mickey Mouse cartoons, first appearing in the package propaganda film Saludos Amigos. An enjoyable bird and master of the samba, José Carioca is known for being a prankster and also for setting off explosions. José Carioca is usually seen accompanying his friends Panchito Pistoles and Donald Duck. When the universe is threatened by the forces of evil in Disney Heroes vs. Villains War, José Carioca is one of the main characters who retaliate against the villains.
