Joanna is the pet monitor and underling of Percival C. McLeach, and the secondary villain of the Disney's sequel film The Rescuers Down Under. She appears in the villains tournaments, although her role is pretty much centered around McLeach's operations, she is also featured as a minor participant, usually fighting weak opponents.

Joanna appears in the reboot series in a role similar to the original series. During McLeach's fight with Tublat, she aids her master when McLeach fails to Tublat's strenght by distracting the rogue gorilla long enough for McLeach to recover and strike back. Later, she becomes witness to Clayton's fate, as he was mauled and devoured by Scar's hyenas.
