Ian Mercer is a minor antagonist in the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise. A cold, calculating agent of Lord Cutler Beckett, Mercer is a ruthless commander and assassin. He is a minor player in the second Disney Vs Non Disney Villains War.

Beckett sends Mercer with Maxim Horvath to take down the forces of the evil Queen Bavmorda. Mercer leads the frontal assault with his British troopers. The troopers do a good job annihilating Xayide's crustacean henchmen, but Mercer and his men face a greater threat in Evil Genius, who defeats them soundly. It is implied, however, that Mercer survives the conflict.
