The Hyenas along with Shenzi, Banzai and Ed are Scar's minions in The Lion King.
The hyenas were led by Scar in his attempt to take over the Pride Lands.
They later took out their frustration on Scar when he deceptively lied and told SImba they were behind his father's death.Scar and Simba fight briefly and Simba manages to throw Scar off the cliff,Scar manages to survive the fall but The hyenas who are determined to get revenge on Scar for betraying them begin to surround him.Scar pleads for his life but The hyenas have had enough of his lies and broken promises and they close in,leap on Scar and maul him to death and eat him as flames engulfs them all.
