Horror is one of the supporting protagonists of the live-action/animated movie, The Pagemaster. As said by his character, Horror appears as an anthropomorhic and deformed hunch-book based on fear itself. Along with Fantasy and Adventure, he accompanied Richard Tyler on his journey to face his fears and return to his original world after accidentally stumbling upon their world. He is also featured in Heroes vs. Villains War as one of heroes who make a stand against the forces of evil.
