Grimsby is a supporting figure in the Disney animated movie, The Little Mermaid, and its subsequent appearances. In spite his age, Grimsby is a confident and sophisticated person to his surroundings. He appears as Prince Eric's confidant and caretaker, guiding the Danish prince into his path of choosing a bride and companion, which he eventually finds in Ariel.
