Grandpa Longneck is a supporting protagonist in the Don Bluth's series, The Land Before Time. The grandfather of the young sauropod, Littlefoot, Grandpa Longneck acts as a caring parental figure to his beloved ones, although yet he would reserve judgement on the dinosaurs, who cross the dark path, including the former villain, Pterano. He assists the forces of good in the final events of Heroes vs. Villains War, along with many other parental figures, summoned by Tarzan, on their battles to stop the rising of the villains.
