Gegenius is one of the children of Echidna in the Hercules television series, even though he is not a child of Echidna in classical Greek mythology. He is a minor player in the second Disney Vs Non Disney Villains War.

Gegenius attacks Queen Chrysalis in the battle between Echidna's children and Eris's forces. It takes two blows from Chrysalis's horn to knock him out.

In this war, Gegenius, along with the Boar, the Wolf and the newly ressurrected Backson, is one of the monsters of Echinda and particiapates in the fight against Frollo's forces. Gegenius face down the Huntsman, Denahi and Atka. Despite of Gegenius size, he was no match against the soldiers powers. He was first knocked out, temporary, by the Huntsman powers, before he was slayed by Atka's spear.

Hades's Cup[]
Gegenius, along with the other monsters of Echidna, participates in the Hades Cup, formed by the Ruler of the Undeworld, Hades himself. The monsters challenge the Red Hulk, a powerfull red giant, who was a threat to Hades plans. Despite Gegenius's charge at Red Hulk, the red giant easily stops his attack, knocking him out with his bare fists.
