Stanford Filbrick "Ford" Pines, Ph.D., also known as The Author or Sixer, is one of the central protagonists of the Disney's television series Gravity Falls. The twin brother of Stan Pines, and the uncle of the children Dipper and Mabel Pines, Ford is an eccentric scientist with a passion on the mystery of the unknown and the supernatural. Though his experimentations led to failure and disregard from his associates, Ford found guidance from the demon Bill Cipher, who drove him to built a portal that would serve as a gateway between dimensions. Realising the demon's real motivations, Ford sealed the portal at the cost of being driven to the other side. After a series of events, the Pine family managed to retrieve him, working together to banish Bill Cipher to the realm he belong to.
Ford is also confirmed to appear in the second Disney Heroes vs. Villains as one of the new faces who would emerge in the later events of the series.
