Trisha Elric is the wife of Van Honenheim and the mother of the Elric Brothers, Edward and Alphonse. A caring and loveable woman in the manga, original and Brotherhood series, Fullmetal Alchemist, Trisha Elric perishes, before the events of the series take place in the present time. Though, not physically seen, the archive footage of Trisha's rotten corpse, which the Elric Brothers saw, after they attempted to revive her, though the Human Transmutation, is used briefly in various villains wars, though used by the demise of a different person in the series.

The Archive Footage of Trisha's rotten corpse is used for the death scene of Nekron, from Fire and Ice. Ignited by Princess Azula's electric powers, Nekron is reduced into a charred corpse. The creator of the tournament uses the Brotherhood scene of Trisha's rotten body, to emphasize the gruesome death of the major player of the war.
