Sir Orin Neville Smythe is the secondary protagonist of the Rankin/Bass animated movie, The Flight of Dragons. Based on the Sir Brian Neville Smythe's character from the Gordon R. Dickson's novel, The Dragon and the George, Sir Orin appeared as one of the champions of the "Green Wizard" Carolinus, along with Gorbash. Accompanied by the talking wolf Aragh, the archer Danielle, and the elf warrior Giles, Orin was assigned by Carolinus in stopping Ommadon from taking over the world. During the events of Heroes vs. Villains War, Orin joins up with Peter Dickison, now in the body of Gorbash, and Smrgol on their journey to stop Ommadon and his allies.
