Ranjan is the tertagonist of the Disney's animated sequel, The Jungle Book II. The youngest child of the tribe's leader and the young brother of Shanti, Ranjan has occasionally spent his time with Mowgli, as the latter showed him the benefits of living in the jungle. He gets the chance to journey through the jungle along with Shanti, when the forces of evil threaten his village during the early events of the second Disney Heroes vs. Villains War.
