Howard Duckson, also known as Howard the Duck, is a Marvel Comics hero who first appeared in Adventure Into Fear #19; he also appeared in the George Lucas-produced live-action flop Howard the Duck. A resident of an alternate dimension where ducks rather than humans are the dominant species on Earth, Howard was accidentally transported to the mainstream-version of Earth in a science experiment gone wrong. Befriending singer Beverly Switzler and battling the evil alien Dark Overlord, Howard ultimately sacrificed his only chance to get home in order to defeat the Overlord, leaving him 'trapped in a world he never made.'
Howard will appear in Disney vs. Comics, adventuring alongside the Guardians of the Galaxy and other space heroes as they battle the forces of evil.
