Darth Sidious, also known by his public title of Sheev Palpatine, is the primary antagonist of the Star Wars film franchise. One of the most powerful Sith Lord in any era, Sidious is a manipulative politician as well as a lethal Sith warrior. He is a secondary player in the Non Disney Villains Tournament.

Meanwhile, Count Dooku contacted his mysterious master to tell him of their losses. Despite this, Dooku's master believed it was only a matter of time before the war turned in their favor.

Talking with Darth Vader[]
Darth Vader reported to the Emperor their victory on Mars. Now the real battle began to take down Gruumm before he could be a true threat to the Empire. The Emperor ordered Vader to move the fleet to Geonosis to wipe out Gruumm's forces. Despite Vader not believing the plan was wise, the Emperor ordered him to go on with it. When Vader questioned if they would be expecting an attack, the Emperor responded by ordering him to attack them on both land and in space. He reasoned that they could not hold out that long with their defenses. Vader then agreed to carry out the plan and began moving the fleet.
Making a switch[]
As Vader returned to his master, Sidious expressed his disappointment in his failure. As punishment, Sidious used his power to pull a switcheroo by bringing Dooku to the live action realm and sending Vader to the CGI realm.

Animated Escapades[]
Sidious rallies his warriors - Count Dooku, Asajj Ventress, and General Grievous - to help him make his stand in the universe. When the animated universe becomes less profitable for the expansion of his empire, Sidious uses a portal left over from the dimension-hopping chaos of the war to warp him, Dooku, and Grievous into the live-action world.
The Galactic Senate[]
Sidious, along with a new partner, Scorpius, form an alliance of space commanders to facilitate the takeover of the live-action realm. All the while, Sidious has his Separatist council, a completely different faction from the alliance of space, set up a new base of operations, though General Grievous is needed to clean out the planet of a dangerous Predator. In the alliance of space, Sidious authorizes the destruction of the Daleks and the institution of Anubis as the leader of the Goa'uld, expanding some tensions between him and Scorpius.

In a plot to take down the leader of the Galactic Empire, the dark wizard Rasputin resurrected the demonic hellhound Sammael using the tears of angels. Catching wind of Rasputin's plans, Darth Sidious and his protege, Anakin Skywalker, made a deal with the alien criminal Serleena, as she gave them a killer alien known as the Xenomorph. The alien was sent out to meet Sammael, confronting the demon of desolation as he was feeding. The two beasts fought in a vicious brawl. Ultimately, the much larger Xenomorph emerged victorious, tearing Sammael apart.
Vs Rasputin[]
While the two monsters were fighting, Rasputin and his associate, Lord Blackwood, traveled to Coruscant, where they confronted Sidious. Unintimidated, the Emperor drew his lightsaber, while Blackwood produced a magic sword of his own. The two clashed blades, but the younger Blackwood out-fenced Sidious and backed him into a corner. Blackwood then departed, leaving Rasputin to finish the job. However, just then, Anakin arrived on the scene, but was shocked to see his old friend Rasputin there, as it turned out that Rasputin had protected Anakin when he was a child. Sidious unleashed force lightning on Rasputin, but the wizard used his magic gauntlet to deflect the lightning back on Sidious. Severely wounded and disfigured, Sidious begged the conflicted Anakin for help. Ultimately, Anakin chose his new mentor over his old friend, stabbing Rasputin with his lightsaber. With his foe distracted, Sidious unleashed force lightning on Rasputin once again, completely obliterating him.

Back on Coruscant, Darth Sidious gathered his allies, including Count Dooku, General Grievous, Darth Maul, and Anakin, now known as 'Darth Vader'. Together, they planned for the uprising of the Sith.
