Danny is the main protagonist of the animated film Cats Don't Dance. A dashing and optimistic humanoid cat, Danny wishes for a better life in an acting career in Hollywood, thus he becomes an actor under the employ of the actress Darla Dimple. He turns against her when his employer reveals her true colors on-screen, and joins with his newest friends, including Sawyer, on purpose to stop Dimple at all cost. He also appears in Heroes vs. Villains as one of the animal heroes who make a stand against the villains, particularly with the Animal Cruelty Squad's members led by Cruella De Ville.
