Jan Mouse is the main heroine of the 1978 animated movie The Devil and Daniel Mouse. A street rodent seeking fame and glory, Jan Mouse once got herself into trouble by foolisly signing a contract with B.L. Zebub (the movie's incarnation of the Devil), though she got saved by her companion, Daniel Mouse, at her final moments before she would be taken away.
Jan Mouse also appears in the first Heroes vs. Villains , although being seperated from Daniel Mouse since the beginning of the war. She finds shelter in the Patch of Heaven ranch, formely under the supervision of Cat R. Waul and Napoleon, before realizing the latter's true nature. She joined forces with the farm animals and the other heroes on to stop the other villainous forces from taking over the world. She eventually reunited with Daniel Mouse by the end of the war and lived happily ever after on the Patch of Heaven ranch.
