Aunt Spiker and Aunt Sponge are the aunts of the boy James Henry Trotter who appear as minor supporting antagonists in the Tim Burton's live-action/stop-motion film James and the Giant Peach. Aunt Spiker is the older sister with a cruel and malicious personality, having assumed a sadistic tendency to torment the boy to her advantage, and treating him more like a slave; Aunt Sponge, on the other hand, is a greedy, selfish, and morbidly fat woman with a gluttonous appetite, who is equally as cruel and repulsive as her sister, although she appears dimwitted compared to her sister's cunning. Nonetheless, they both share their love for abusing their nephew to their advantage, despite the need to take care of him due to the loss of his parents. They appear as minor characters in the second Disney Heroes vs. Villains, searching for Trotter after he went missing, only to lose his tracks shortly thereafter. It is unknown if they would become further involved in the conflict.
